Hon. Buchi George, the
President of Globe chamber of Commerce and Industry, who has been making waves
when it comes to strategic partnership between nations, said partnership is one
major way of boosting economic development and in the course of explanation announced Baltic – Africa Economic
and Investment Forum 2023, Lithuania.
Speaking with some
media reporters in Abuja Today, the trade gaffer stated that the Baltic
– Africa Economic and Investment Forum 2023, Lithuania is a strategically
planned event targeted at drawing master-plans, investments and other
strategies between Baltic Countries and Africa.
The President of Globe chamber of Commerce said
the partnership with Lithuania will ensure that the dividends of the program
are highly felt by the Baltic region and continent of Africa.
“What we are
looking at is to figure out countries who have gotten it right in areas we are
still working on. We look at what they have as well as what we can offer them
and that is how it all begins” he added.
"There are
always things Africa can offer and for us at Globe chamber of Commerce, we
believed the best way to get things right is through strategic planning and
partnership among ourselves and nations of other continents”
With Baltic –
Africa Economic and Investment Forum 2023, Lithuania billed for this year, 2023,
the president said, one key thing about the success of any planned event has
always being tied to a strategic plan in the midst of the new normal. He
further stated that the dwindling done of the global economy by disturbances
either by war, earthquake or climate change is obvious for every nation to see,
adding that what they have is a plan to promote the African nations.
“Normally these plans
are what will enable us grow, but we will be using them to create and synergize
with other regions to help in getting their economy going. It has been a very
tough time for nations around the world, but if we all can come together to
share strategically, Africa and the entire Baltic will become a force to reckon
with in the business enclave” the president concluded.
