Globe Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (GCCI) today lays roadmap to support economic
recovery by 2023.
In a special address this morning at the GCCI Management
Executive Meeting, Mr. Buchi George Esq, President of GCCI affirmed the
organization commitment towards supporting trade across the globe for global
economic recovery. He said trade is facing global economic uncertainty and
weakening of multilateral trade system. ‘’the most urgent task of our time is
to enhance global supply chain that enhance multilateral trade system
globally’’.
To counter this global trade fragmentation, he further
disclosed the organization project for 2023, ‘’ United Kingdom Africa Economic
Cooperation & Investment Development Forum (UKAECID FORUM) 2023. He said
that the UKAECID forum will benefits multilateralism and free trade.
Mr. Buchi George identified specific challenges facing
multilateral trade, and said the UKAECID forum will establish a supportive
platform that will aid global trade.
GCCI, as a leading, most innovative and advanced investment
trade and business development organization will continue to support economic
growth through the promotion of trade and investment policies while developing
trade that focuses on industrialization and human capital development.
