While formalizing arrangements
for the United Kingdom- Africa Economic Cooperation and Investment Development
Forum (UAECID Forum), the president of Globe chamber of commerce and industry,
the brain behind the UAECID Forum said, they are prepared to make Africa’s
economy great.
Speaking in Abuja,
Nigeria, the president who was speaking on behalf of his organization, Globe
Chambers of Commerce and Industry said, programs like the United Kingdom-
Africa Economic Cooperation and Investment Development Forum is what Africa
nations need to regain its lost glory.
Adding that through
the UAECID Forum, partnerships, bilateral relationship, investment
opportunities and lot more…will be established, and his organization can inject
a lot of life into the African economy.
“Partnerships
and collaborations make it easily and it also helps to understand what end (partners
and collaborators) need so as to make the prospect success” he continues.
“We are just
counting down to the United Kingdom - Africa Economic Cooperation and Investment
Development Forum event billed for the 18th to 20th of April 2023, London,
UK. Adding that the event has been designed in a way that it will be making an
instant impact on the economy of Africa”. He added.
He further stated
that alongside the stated events, his organizations have other events that are
expected to make similar impact on the economy when it begins
“Some of the events
are sector-specific, while others are expected to make general impacts. Some are
for just Africa, while majority are global. The most important thing is that we
are with the right framework and appropriate agencies to ensure success”
“We want an economy
that is better and inviting, one that will offer the continent of Africa more
opportunity as well as draw the attention investors. We are planning to open
Africa to the World; we want to diversify things and show that we are a
productive continent not just a consuming, but more importantly, to ensure that
we are sustainable”, he said.
“The United Kingdom
- Africa Economic Cooperation and Investment Development Forum will make an
indelible make on the business world” he concluded.
