The
Chairman of Trade Nigeria, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has revealed that the Trade
Mission and business delegation of industries, Agriculture, mines, Investment
and Commerce to Asia and Europe is a global affair which is driven by the
vision to make made in Nigeria products global brands.
Hon. Buchi George who stated this in Abuja, while
speaking to newsmen, said the event has been upgraded to inculcate
multi-sectorial.
He
further stated that while the series of events lined up will expose investors
to business opportunities in other countries, it will also help in making made
in Nigeria products, global brands.
“What we will be having in China, Korea and Japan are just the Asia edition of
the project and we are looking forward to other continents like Europe as well.
We want to make made in Nigeria products, global brands; we want
to make the world see more opportunities in Nigeria and in turn boost our
economy.
“We don’t just want people from other countries to come here and
see Nigeria as an avenue to sell their products, but rather, to come here and
procreate with our resources and sell to other countries”, he said.
He
further revealed that about one thousand people have already registered for the
event which will be kicking off in Seoul, South Korea Asia, before the European
Edition that will start with Poland.
Participants are expected to register
on our official website and offices, according the Chairman.
To make the programme a success, Trade Nigeria is in partnership with, Globe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nigerian Embassies in Korea, Taiwan, Japan; Poland as well as other European and the Government of Nigeria.
