Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George has
described the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation in
Nigeria as a strategic one in the coordination and revitalization of the
economy.
Ahead of the 17th World Water Congress, the
international business promotion guru said that the role of the Political and
Economic Affairs Department of the SGF’s office so far has been strategic in
leading the Nigerian delegation to the event billed for November 28 to December
3, 2021 in Daegu, South Korea.
Hon. Buchi George who is the chairman of
Trade Nigeria said that the SGF’s office has put in great effort to see that
Nigeria gets instant benefits from the event.
He said that clean water is key to good
health and a strong economy, making it important for Nigeria to borrow a leaf
from other countries that have great standards in water purification and
production.
“Water is life and anyone thinking about good
life is thinking about wealthy life because health is wealth”
“Water is also at the core of everything we are doing and to achieve better technology and more improved standards in water purification and production, the Political and Economic Affairs Department of the SGF’s office, Trade Nigeria, and the entire team of the IOD department are currently working with national water manufacturers association on healthy and clean water treatment technology and purification plants”
“The SGF, His Excellency Boss Mustaphar, and
the Permanent Secretary Mr. Andrew Adejo, with the IOD team, are working
tirelessly to make sure Nigeria participates and possibly bring in investors to
the country”, he said.
Buchi George also added that the delegation
to South Korea which will be led by Mr. Andrew Adejo is expected to bring home
investments in the latest water purification and production technologies.
Ahead of the event
organized by the International
Water Resource Association (IWRA), he said that leading a
strong and strategic delegation to events like this will benefit Nigeria
immensely as it looks to catch up with the best in the world.

investment, innovations, and development”
“The best move is to take advantage of the
opportunities at our doorsteps and make something great out of it”
“I commend the efforts of the office of the
AGF so far, they have been strategic and clinical. The impacts are already

Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George’s Trade Nigeria, as well as Globe
Chambers of Commerce and Industry, have also been on the front row in the
planning of some international trade missions, such as well as Asia-Africa Economic & Investment Forum 2021.
