The Barcelona- Nigeria Construction and Infrastructural Development Meeting/Conference designed to be held in Barcelona, Spain from the 14^th to 15^th of Junes 2022, is an initiative of Globe Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the aim of bring together leading scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences on all aspects of Infrastructure and Construction.

 

According to Hon. Buchi George, the president of Globe Chamber of Commerce and Industry, The Construction and Infrastructural Development Meeting/Conference is majorly to promote dialogue and exchange between leading edge economic researchers and the wider community of policymakers and practitioners on leveraging infrastructure for development.

 

“The conference will also be of interest to decision makers and analysts from industry and government responsible for: design, construction and operation of infrastructure assets; asset management and specification and procurement of major infrastructure assets”, he added.

 

The Construction and Infrastructural Development Meeting/Conference will also take cognizant on - How does the construction sector fit into the ecosystem, how are we creating value for jobs, how are we building cities, how are we addressing the diversity piece from a skills perspective and inclusive communities, and global uncertainties such as inflation, stretched supply chains and cost of materials brought about by regional conflict.
