About ‘TICAD’ (Talent, Ideas, Creativity and Art Display) Exhibition and Expo 2022: "Our mission is to support, institute programs, and creative activities that will motivate young adults" - Buchi George

 

In today’s dynamic environment, and with the advancement of technology, economies rely heavily on creative, talents and extraordinary individual to thrive and stay ahead. Moreover, it has been suggested that a society's economic and cultural strength can no longer be measured only by the production of goods, but also by the production of information and creative ideas, which can be referred to as “creative economy”. Hence, society must prepare individuals for their future life to be thinkers, skilled people, problem-solvers and creative.

 

 

It understood that arts have become an important and essential part of developing the creativity of individual, as it helps the individual to build their confidence and knowledge and to engage with other people. In 2019 Trade Nigeria organized a similar event in Singapore, while the 2020/2021 edition could not hold due to the outbreak of the covid pandemic.

 

With the 2022 edition billed for October, Hon. Buchi George said the event will see Nigeria and Nigerians forge fresh economic partnerships with the listed countries. And over there with Nigerians and friends of the countries are expected to be on the list of awardees.
