The leadership of Trade
Nigeria has revealed that they are having strategic meetings with leading
business owners and Gov’t parastatals ahead of Nigeria Economic Forum 2022.
With the Nigeria Economics
and Investment Forum fast approaching, the organization has had meeting with
government agencies, business executives and embassy representatives in both
Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria.
According to the President
of Trade Nigeria, Hon. Nwabueze Buchi George, who said “ I don’t want to call names but bear in mind that
something big is about to happen, as series of strategic meetings has being
held in Abuja and more is yet to come”.
He also revealed that the
meetings held was strategic to the planning of the event billed for 2022, with
no definite date. Adding that more moves will still be made to ensure a
successful planning and implementation.
“We are looking at an event
that will not be tied to neither the government nor the private sector but one
that will bring the kind of economic development that will give room for local
manufacturers to excel”
“It
will be an event that will belong to everyone, an event that will give meaning to life is
what we will be achieving through this kind of strategic meetings/partnership
that will yield strategic results in improving the rural economies” he
said.
Hon. Buchi George further stated that they have had more meetings and will still
be involved in others to ensure every relevant organizations are carried along
for optimal output.
“The next stop for us is
the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, where we’re expected to reach
an agreement that will play a strategic role in the event” he added.

to economies that are working, to see what Nigeria can take home”
“This program will cover all sectors, tech, agro, and other businesses. What we
are doing is simply to match-make our people with their counterparts across the
shores of Nigeria”
“We are working with both
governments’ and private”, but like we said, expect something big”, he concluded.
